A hawk is diving into this pyracantha bush to catch a sparrow that is hiding inside. The little birds love this bush because of the berries and also because of the nearness of sunflower seeds.

The hawk, a Cooper's I think chased one out and went streaking after him around the corner of our house.

Referring to yesterday's blip, the trash was indeed collected this morning. Also The Golden Goose truck came by to pick up some heavy furniture items that we are donating to make the house less cluttered and better staged for future Open Houses.
