The Valley of the Deer

I spent most of the morning following the memorial service for Nelson Mandela on Twitter.

The inside of my mounth is sore - the roof is purple and my front gums are swollen. It's like that for a week now. Should I be worried?

Had diced beef with mushroom & cream sauce on pasta for dinner with a Collezione di Paola Chianti. C took all the empty bottles to the bottle bank, so we had to start filling the boxes again. That's our story & we're sticking to it.
