Music Lesson

Well, much to our surprise, Istanbul schools were not closed this morning by the Governor and so many students and colleagues struggled through foul conditions to get here - some taking nearly three hours. Meanwhile, the music teachers decided to reinforce co-ordination skills and a musician's sense of timing by taking their students outside for some seasonal sports.

At 12.20pm came the announcement we were all waiting for from the Headmaster, and school officially closed at 1.30pm. I hope everyone got home safely. I haven't seen any of the campus feral cats, including the regulars (Kitty, Degil) - I hope they have all hunkered down somewhere dry, along with Mrs Tiggywinkle
