A very special day

Today is the only day this millennium that we will have sequential numbers in the date 11/12/13. The next is in 990 years! What better to celebrate the day than a photo of a colourful quilted advent calendar that my mother sewed. It is about half-a-metre squared. Each day has a little quilted pocket, which contains a few sweets to eat on that day - although by the time I get there the sweets have surprisingly disappeared! Not long till Christmas now.
