More caramels

This year I have really been gung ho about making caramels. The small, lighter colored one on the left is licorice caramels. The recipe calls for black paste food coloring, but all that does is turn it black, so I leave it out. The larger, darker colored one on the right is just plain caramels. I plan to do two more batches this weekend, one with cashews, and one with hazelnuts (filberts). Stay tuned.
