The Origin of the Saltire

Crossed contrails above the Hill of Fare this afternoon accidentally create a modern, 21st century rationalist version of the legend of how the Saltire came to be Scotland's National Flag.

An omen for what might happen on 18th September next year? Or a subtle conspiracy to influence voters at a subliminal level maybe...?
