Progress

Harvey was attacked by a Rottweiler. He was bitten round his neck and shaken hard. There is also a puncture wound on his left hip and substantial bruising to his groin. The wounds are healing, but there has been significant trauma to his spinal cord, from the shaking. Today, when i visited him, he stood up for the first time. It is his spirit and survival instinct that has so far prevented me from making that very difficult decision. Thanks to his insurance policy he is in the best of hands at the neurological centre, Fitpatrick Referrals where he is undergoing neuro-physiotherapy. They have assured me that if his progress plateaus, or deteriorates, they will inform me.
Harvey may be physically fragile, but his strength of spirit never ceases to amaze me.
