should have made porridge!

No sun today so no grainy pics!
Earlier in the year I blipped some oats in the garden and when they were ripe I harvested them, removed the husks and ground them to make coarse oatmeal. (I don't think I'll do the same again as it was very fiddly).
Today I decided to turn the oatmeal into a large oatcake - about 15cms across - but wasn't very successful as it disintegrated. It does taste okay but can't exactly be eaten in the manner intended!
So, maybe porridge would have been a better use of them.
Don't think I'll get much commenting done, internet access keeps disappearing every 5 mins or so.
