Black Rock

he forecast was ror it to dry up this afternoon and become brighter.
No such luck.
The rain actually became heavier though it had reduced to light rain by the time I took this after most of the light was gone.

Protected from the rain in a tunnel under the railway line, I sat the camera on the ground (no tripod) for a four-second exposure looking across to Edinburgh.

If you look closely at the right hand side, you can see Santa's sleigh passing in front of the hill.*

The other lights are parts of Edinburgh.
The Main dark rock in the foreground is called Black Rock and lies just off Burntisland, Fife.

*Actually, the lights are the site of a dry-ski-slope at Hillend.
