as this goose takes off -

usually i end up capturing geese - or ducks - with wings outstretched - wide open in flight - which is a wonderful way to see them - but this time - i was rather enchanted to see this curved effect - a graceful enfolding - allowing the sunlight to reflect in a special way - off the granduer of his wings - highlighing some of the irridescent coloring - not readily seen with geese - it gave me pause - to appreciate these magnificent birds - with whom i get to share space - who honk and make faces at me - yet gladly respond to my call - a special time - that leads to...
