Poble Vell de Corbera d'Ebre

The church at the Old Village of Corbera, so devastated during the Spanish Civil War that they built a new village just down the hill. The old village remains as a monument and is one of many sites in the area of the Battle of the Ebro. There's a little more information here, and here.

We went on a guided tour of several historic sites this morning, all relating to the Battle of the Ebro, and it was very interesting. Even though it was all in Catalan (of course) and we understood less than 20%, we still learned more than we would have done going on our own.
