books I don't have enough time for

This is one that has been lying around for over three months and I haven't got time for it. It's about the Howards, Dukes of Norfolk. On the cover is Thomas Third Duke of Norfolk. He has witnessed the history of King Richard III (or at least the aftermath being 10 years of age in 1483) and of Henry VII and Henry VIII. He outlived King Henry VIII because the king died the night before the planned execution of the Duke on 28 January 1547. Two of his nieces died while being merried to Henry VIII.

I don't think the Duke was a traitor, but I do think he was a survivor.
