One Tree Hill

I've blipped this local "one tree hill" many times over the years, but never from this angle. The day was grey and dull, the light flat. Given it the works, and quite like the effect (for a change).

This afternoon we went to the opening of Richard Bolton's exhibition. He is a well known British water colour artist and author now living here in South Canterbury. His work is incredible.
