Horrendous Hailstones!

Just before midnight last night I heard the most awful noise - it was as if someone was throwing ball bearings at the window - quite scary when your only companion is a deaf dog! This noise went on for some time only to be followed by loud claps of thunder and sheet lightning. I'm just so thankful that I was indoors and not driving home. When I took Hollie out this morning it wasn't quite light but I did notice the pile of hailstones just outside my front door ..... no body else had remnants of the hailstorm in their garden ..... why me? When I came home from church at lunch time the little mound was still there ...... time for a blip!
