Naivasha to Lake Nakuru

so this was my shot of the day, taken at Lake Naivasha before we set off..we had a good afternoon heading to Nakuru where we got to our campsite and were subjected a mass photo session with a group of schoolchildren who were staying at our campsite.

The afternoon's game drive resulted in sightings of 2 lions, ostriches, flamingoes, and a faraway rhino

back to camp for the best potato soup, and a roast fish dinner.

we were swamped by another party of schoolchildren who were kept up late by their teachers preparing their dinner.. goat curry.. unfortunately we had to endure the screams of the goat being slaughtered.. disturbing to us but a way of life for them..
