Sunrise over the Pentlands from the airport

This was the best of the day weather wise. I was en route to Helsinki, where I had another exquisite meal this evening with a good friend in the Law Faculty. When I first came to Finland about 15 years ago, the food was awful. Now, it is actually quite hard to get a bad meal. Pricey, mind you. But good.

When I got here it was fairly cold, but mainly rather slushy, wet and unpleasant having snowed a bit this morning, but having subsequently warmed up. The worst of winter conditions, really.
