A Dog's Dinner

Dead Flowers and a Good Canteen

We headed back down the road this afternoon in a dour grey mist and as it was cold and miserable up in The Glen, it was no hardship .

We stopped for a wee break and a cup of coffee and came across this shrine on the banks of Loch Laggan.

Quite touching but it felt North American to me - I wonder why?

Anyway back in Bellaburgh we popped over at her gaff just in time to get a smashing curry from her mum and I discovered that I'm not expected back in the office until Tuesday! Result!

...and in the mail we received two notes from friends of ours who have just started High School, one in the Far North and another in London and both were very nervous.

They're loving it. Not too much homework and the canteen food's much better than Primary.

Can't say fairer than that.
