Cladonia Chlorophaea ( Pixie-cup Lichen).

Have you ever had a close look at the green stuff that grows on walls? This amazing lichen is one of many species of lichen on our walls. I am not a biologist, so had to do a bit of research on the internet. What started out as just something to use for my Blip turned into a very interesting afternoon, and I learned so much! There is also masses of moss on our wall - Tortula Muralis ( Wall Screw Moss).
However, it was not an easy task photographing these amazing little species - I struggled with depth of field and focus, as you can see!
