Watching

Went to visit the birdwatching centre at Aberlady today, thinking the lads might enjoy it.

It turned out to be the headquarters of the Scottish Ornithologists' Club - a bit more hardcore than we'd imagined, with (among other things) a library of over 4,000 books. A brilliant place if you're really into birds.

Luckily, the setting was beautiful - with a huuuuuuuge poppy field, and a great fence from which to survey Aberlady bay.
