Happy Birthday Emily

Day 2 of our busy weekend started with dropping Matthew at his football training session, and then going to son#3 and daughter-in-law#2's house for Emily's first birthday party.

This is a picture of Katie taking her building block birthday cake for her to blow out the candle. She needed a bit of help with this, but no help required for opening her presents! Unlike many children of her age, she ripped off the paper and discarded it in favour of the gifts inside - we obviously have a very bright young granddaughter!

After this is was off to visit Mrs TPV's sister, then a spot of 'baby-sitting' with the older grandchildren while mum was out for the evening!
