So still

Looking across to the South Wales coast from the coastal path north of Clevedon today. Not a breath of wind, the waters of the Severn estuary so still and the steam from chimneys billowing in the cold air. OB and I had a glorious walk with our great friends Adrian and John. Followed, of course , by a pub lunch.

And OB has blipped the pier at Clevedon here. I bet you didn't know there is a National Piers Society. It seems they have awarded this one Pier of the Year 2013. It is certainly lovely.
