A quiet coot

I headed to Tooting Common Pond this morning to get a little respite from this none stop festive business.

The pond looked beautiful with lots of fallen leaves in it. Not many birds were out swimming (a bit chilly this morning), just this lonesome coot. Obviously an early bird.
