So Very Close!

Along the riverside this morning and 4 metres away through some undergrowth I saw this big fellow!. He probably was aware of me, because they are always aware,but I didn't seem to bother him. I was looking for Kingfishers and I got him, which I thought was a good compromise seeing as he was so close.I could actually get a good look at his eye! It is quite a nice sunny day today but there is a chill in the air.
