ALL IN THE IMAGINATION

Last session of this year's art classes involved sorting, handing out of collected work etc. When all that was done the children were free to finish off work or make something for themselves. The three boys decided to make themselves "leptops". It took a few seconds for the penny to drop.
Frenswill also wanted to make a mouse. I had to look for some wool and stiff card for him. While the other two drew pictures on their screens, Frenswill chose to write or copy words that I suspect he cannot read. The words were.."a mother..during pregnancy...handicapped..." He also made himself a name card like those worn by people attending the state funeral. On his card is "Frenswill, S A and R I P"
He has blossomed in the art class and is accepted by the group.
