Quiet Reflection In The Cathedral

Visited Funchal Cathedral this morning: a choir had just finished rehearsing their Christmas concert when I spotted this elderly lady sitting quietly with her prayer beads in her hand.

Later we took the bus out to Camaras de Lobos, the former fishing village that Winston Churchill used to love to paint.
