Our friend Alice asked if I would take some pictures of her kids. I went round to their house with camera, lastolites, and shiny new LED lighting panels. Felt like a proper portrait photographer, but made rookie mistake halfway through (accidentally disengaged autofocus, all remaining pictures looked OK on the camera's little LCD screen but were not sharp enough to print at useful size).

Nevertheless there were some decent shots before the focus drifted; I liked the soft light on this one, with the contrast cranked right up.
