Crumbs of Comfort

Crumbs of comfort

The idea behind this drink is simple. Big, warm, comforting flavours that is easy to make with leftover slices of Christmas cake or panettone, some milk, honey, a cinnamon stick and of course Bombay Sapphire.

Place all the ingredients, except the gin into a pan and slowly bring to a boil. Lower the heat and allow to infuse and reduce a little. At this point, strain and press all the liquid through a strainer and put the liquid back into the pan. Add 1/3 if the amount of gin to the mixture and stir. Once the liquid is at a nice warm temperature (above 55 degrees c) pour into tea cups and grate a little nutmeg over.
