Charlotte Sq

This tree in Charlotte Sq Gardens is my favourite this year, apart from ours of course which is slightly smaller. It's survived the recent winds surprisingly well which will please the folk that put it up! Overall I think the Christmas lights in town are pretty disappointing though, especially on George St, but then I'm no fan of these blue lights that seem to have become the standard. They don't exactly give off a warm and cheerful glow. Anyway getting back to our tree, it's moved from a bucket at the foot of the stairs to its stand in front of the window, leaving a grand needle trail behind. We'll leave it be now and let it get dressed tomorrow.
