Feasting Female Blackbird

I waited and waited for this ''madam''to come out from among the Quince fruit but she was determined to keep under cover
The birds have started on the Quince a lot earlier this year and I fear that if the weather does turn in that there will be nothing left?
Our normal Redwings and Fieldfairs will have nothing when they arrive in January time.But it is not down to me and they will have to eat grain as the others do!
