Curran

Whoop whoop, I've finished for Christmas hols!!

Mr A & I travelled to York this evening to see a band he we discovered earlier this year called Curran.

They are a rock band, heavily influenced by Bon Jovi (in fact the lead singer, Mark Curran, grew up in New Jersey). Tonight was an acoustic show, with just lead & rhythm guitar, and a really intimate venue (we sat on the front row).
I've had a few interactions with them over on Twitter so it was great to meet up with Mark and Dean tonight.
I thought we might just manage a quick 'hello' after their set, but we ended up having several drinks and a good old chin wag about pretty much everything! They were lovely guys and really easy to get along with.
We've planned to see them again in the New Year, which we are looking forward to already.

We are staying in York tonight and will be having a look round the shops tomorrow before heading home.
