It's a grey day

Not quite 50 shades of grey but grey enough.

No chance of a sunset today, at least one that we could see, but there was a hint the sun was up there somewhere. This is a different beach from my usual haunt – it's the same stretch of water but from further up the coast. The image is worth looking at in large format.

It really was a miserable day and the shortest day of the year is yet to come tomorrow. Things can only get better?
