Wedding

This picture from our wedding album was taken on Dec 21, 1963. tomorrow will be 50 years! We are headed today over a snowy pass to a resort in the mountains with our family to celebrate. On this day in 1963 it was snowing north of Chicago where we got married in a little chapel in the same church as my Mom and her twin in their double wedding. Then there was a small reception at my parents home with the cake! We took the train the next day to the Upper peninsula of Michigan for a ski honeymoon. So…we were hoping for a little snow. but not too much. Hope we get there! This is probably the worst weather 12 hours of the year so far.... more later.. (and probably an edit…..).
