The tree is trimmed!

Yesterday evening i put up the lights and trimmed the tree...it's looking pretty festive in there!

It's been a crazy sort of day....started off with sunshine which was a very welcomed change. Then Terry noticed there was smoke escaping from the stove pipe, inside the house, not a good sign. We thought about cleaning out the chimney before we started using it...but somehow it got put off! So, today was the day! Interesting experience taking burning logs (in a bucket of course!) outside and dumping them into the snow.....what a lot of smoke! It didn't take too long, but it was messy. The rest of the day seems to have been taken up with chores or one sort or another.....but Randy and Max are here and dinner is about to be served! So i'm on the unwinding path and ready to curl up with my book after dinner!
