The shortest day

Just a few short hours with my lovely nieces today - but we managed to squeeze in some impressive piano playing, delicious lunch, plenty of cuddles, and several slices of cougnou (Belgian fruit loaf in the shape of a swaddled Jesus, the remains of which are just visible here!) - plus a highly-competitive game of Chinese chequers. Quite a lot for the shortest day!
