Santa Claus is coming to town

Christmas lights never fail to make me feel christmassy. After putting the children to bed i turn all the lights out and just have the Christmas lights on, lie back, relax and have a nice cup of tea.....bliss.

I am currently taking an Institute of Photography diploma in photography course (a girl has to start somewhere). They asked us to experiment with the aperture settings and exposure compensation. I did 3 exposure settings for my little Santa shot, and in the end decided i preferred the slightly under exposed one as it more accurately depicted what is looks like in my living room.
