Cruden Bay

The wee harbour at Cruden Bay was full to the brim of the sea today. Cold and windy weather must be combined with high tide to cause this unusual occurrence.
Cruden Bay, famed for its golf course and in Victorian times it was a holiday resort, served by the railway. Local history reports that the castle of Slains is where Bram Stoker wrote Dracula, contrary to popular opinion, not in Scarborough!
