A much needed win for @NewportRFC

The return match, or grudge match, depends how you look at it. Two weeks ago we played Bedwas at home and it wasn't a game to remember. It was a game that we should of won but threw it away in the end.

Today we played at the Bridge field in Bedwas. It started well with Newport going 6 - 0 up. But that soon changed with yet more and tackling and Bedwas breaking through Newport's defence to score under the posts.

At half time it seemed the riot act was read and a different Newport came out. A super break from Oliver Griffiths set up Alex Jeffries to score in the corner, not bad seeing as Alex was nearly knocked out in the first half. Newport held on to their lead to finish off a much needed win. Final score Bedwas 10 Newport 17.
