So that was the day.....

Had a coffee with Ben which was tremendous - thanks bud - and then walked his streets hoping to do them justice. Manchester really is a fantastically blippable city; and some bits of Salford and Trafford are okay too.

Lovely wandering around seeing town without all the pressures of having to be somewhere. Had a mooch in the town hall and round Castlefield and along Deansgate - a lot of walking. Also managed The Pev and Britons Protection so a very good day in scheme of things. I always want to add the apostrophe but it isn't there in the original so I guess we just have to suck it up.

This shot is along the Rochdale from the 92nd lock, behind me is the Bridgewater and Castlefield and Barca. To the right is Albert's shed and Duke's 92 and to the left are the bridges carrying trains and trams to faraway places with strange sounding names; Eccles, East Didsbury, and Altrincham. Ahead leads to the untold promise of Manchester city centre and all it might offer.

Saturday is done amigos - let's head on into that Sunday!
