Mostly Six Five Oh

St. Patrick's Church, NW 19th Ave.

I've been meaning to check out this church for some time, we always fly past the dome as we're crossing the Fremont Bridge. I really like the church building and the rectory and hoped as it was almost Christmas it might be open, but no. It's difficult to visit churches these days just out of architectural interest unless you attend a service.

The church is situated in an urban light industrial area, there are lofts, a pet hotel, warehouses, restaurants, then the freeway/Fremont Bridge (seen on the left of this photo), and a huge logistics company right behind it that has a massive and ugly office campus with acres of parking lots, which is the fenced in areas on either side of the street.
