A scene in the deep deep forest

.... our nativity set is really really big - it takes all the space under the tree - all around! It is made of Ostheimer Holzfiguren - so that our kids could play with the figures, what they loved to do when they were smaller...

There is naturally the shed with the crib and Maria and Joseph and so on, the 3 wise men approach with their camels and horses and elephants from afar, the shepherds and the sheep are gathering around a fire on a meadow, ducks are swimming in a pond, angel and children are admiring the baby Jesus - a fox is trying to get the hens, a wolf is craving some sheep, a bandit is sneaking around the forest ...... and deer are kissing....
