Trees in the snow

Last few Christmas cards - coincidentally, all snow scenes with trees - ready to deliver to local friends.

No snow here yet! But as we drove down to Ford we could see the first real snow of the winter on the Cheviot and a sprinkling on the Lammermuirs. Treated to a glass of port and chocolate at the Old Dairy - a welcome and unexpected pleasure!

Bracing [no that's an understatement - more like wind-blown and sand-blasted...] walk on Ross sands this afternoon. Then back home to roast duck.
