Distances

Christmas seems to bring awareness of relating . Some connections eroded by time and others as strong as they were decades ago. People we want to be closer too and some that need more distance. Tonight I am grateful for my family and friends and the love that is in my life.
This gift is for my friend M whom I won't see before Christmas, so before I put it under the tree, it is my colourful blip. I am looking forward to a break from work over Christmas.
