Black Ice

I chat to a particular friend almost every day and today we met up for the first time in five months....well almost...149 days to be precise ( I don't count them... I just used Excel!!)........
And it was a wonderful two hours.....
We walked on the beach in darkness and went for a drive into the hills for a while but black ice and a car in a ditch put paid to that idea so instead we prudently made our way back towards the sea.... My passenger is important in my life and wouldn't want her hurt......
Couldn't resist the icy lanes on the way home though.....the meeting was the perfect birthday present for me..........just saying
