On Ohawe Beach

Such beautiful weather in the morning! Mount Taranaki was clearly to be seen, so we drove to the Dawson Falls Visitor Centre hoping to be able to do a hike. When we arrived there, all that was still to be seen were clouds. So we drove on to Ohawe Beach, strolled along the black-sanded shore for a while, and had a very pleasant relaxed day with good chats.
A beach that makes you want to have a happy dog to share it with and a beach that makes your face freeze into a big smile.
