Seasons's Greetings

This is a Chinese New Year decoration. Yesterday, amidst all the feasting at two different wedding celebrations, a film crew had borrowed bits of our home to film a TV commercial. The ad is to air over the lunar new year in late January. So the house was dressed up in Chinese New Year finery, with pussy willow, red paper pineapples and lots of other suitably red and cheery bits and bobs.

The crew left behind some of their props (with our permission). There is now Chinese New Year stuff with my Christmas decorations and the kids get to make their Christmas cookies under the sign for good fortune.

Oh, the ad was for Kentucky Fried Chicken!
