Trees Blown Down

The weather today, as predicted, has been terrible, wind gusts of just above 50 MPH, causing havoc, bringing down trees, and power cables
This tree was a few yards up the road from where I live, it is on a busy main road, and it was causing traffic to build up, nobody knowing how to behave with oncoming traffic, who gives way etc, sometimes I wonder about motorists, but a van driver and myself "traffic controlled" for half an hour until the police arrived and took over.
There have been many trees down, flooded roads, and it is two days before Christmas, so the roads are busy.
This was the only photography i have done today, so, for a change i have created a collage as my Blip.
