Dancing on ice

Once upon a time I played ice hockey so I'm not too bad at skating, I'm not a fan of hire skates though as I often catch the toe picks on the ice - they don't have them on hockey skates.
Still it's a few years since I've been skating and it took me a little while to get back my confidence whilst checking out the new ice rink in Widnes with my sister, the one arms open hurtling towards me.
I didn't fall over though and embarrass myself even if plenty of others did. I also like standing on the barrier every so often forcing those people who crab around the edge of the rink with their hands off the wall.
