Birthing ferns

Well a glorious day today and further from a tsunami you couldn't be. I headed up to Wainui Falls with camera and tripod in hands - only to be beaten a few hundred yards from my final destination by a swingbridge. Alas am a coward and walking on things that swing several metre up in the air is beyond my willpower. I had t make do with a shot of these unfurling ferns ( although did get some beauties of rushing water too)
