Friends are Precious

Old friends round for lunch - 13 adults and 3 children - we ate the pumpkin I've blipped before, stuffed with bread, cream, bacon, prawns, cheese, amongst other things, and roast for hours in the oven. Felt a rainy day like this needed something cheerful.

As usual, didn't think to blip until the table was a mess of dirty dishes. But think this captures the air of comfortable affection around the table. Paul's jumper was knitted for me many years ago by an even older friend, Nora Blake, no longer with us.

Second to last advent window: Enter his gates with thanksgiving. Psalm 100:4-5
