Freezing Rain!

Well, it decided to rain for two days and now the snow is almost gone. Sun and rain washed away most of the snow and with temps falling again, the rain is freezing as it is falling. I finally got out to finish my shopping. First stop, supermarket. The parking lot was so full and crowded, but we managed to get a space. Honestly, there were more cars in the lot compared to the customers in the store. I had a list and was pretty directed at where I needed to go. The deli counter was no waiting and the checkout line was also no long wait. We got through and proceeded to go to the car. When we got out of the car earlier, it was still light out and raining. We jumped out and rushed int the store. When we emerged, it was dark, still raining and crowded and we had no freakin idea where the car was. I was ready to call lo-jak to report a missing vehicle when Alyssa hollered out "It's here ma!" We had a good laugh and put all the bundles in the car and on to a couple of more errands. Well all is done with a day to spare. Tomorrow will be preping for Christmas dinner and out for a while to celebrate a Christmas Eve birthday party. I actually know five people who are Christmas eve babies.

Today was raining, foggy, cold and icy. Home now and ready to relax. Watching "Christmas with the Cranks" (based on the book "Skipping Christmas" by John Grisham). Very funny book and movie.
